of which are 2nd place at the 2018 State Senior Competition for Music Teachers National Association, the Dr. Bonnie G. Mani award for 2nd place at the 2018 Regional East Carolina University Young Artist Competition and the Eleanor Holter award for 1st at the 2019 Regional East Carolina University Piano Competition, 1st at the University of North Carolina School of Arts Classical Sonata Competition, and 2nd at the Steinway Junior Piano Competition in North Carolina, the Sandra Hopper Manly Scholarship for 1st place in RPTA Scholarship Audition, the NCFMC Hinda Honigman Scholarship Award for 1st place at the State level and 1st place at the State level NCFMC Royalty Competition. Also, Eric is many times State winner for the North Carolina Music Teachers Association at the top level.

Eric has performed at various venues such as Watson Hall of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, East Carolina University, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as well as appearances at local community centers to conduct and perform in music outreach events.
